TREATMENT COORDINATOR
Responsibilities:
- Meeting with patients and doctors to discuss dental concerns.
- Keep and maintain dental notes
- Excellent communication skills with the team member and with patients
- Some knowledge of Pano and 3D digital images.
- Monitor patients’ progress, concerns, and satisfaction.
- Great time management skills.
- Ensure patients understand their treatment plan
- Present case fees and financial options to patients to facilitate the decision
- Present treatment plan and consent.
- Educate patients, as necessary, regarding their dental knowledge.
- Work with the billing department to determine dental benefits, limitations, and payment estimates to facilitate financial arrangements.
- Ensure patients are up to date on their financial obligations.
- Coordinate with other healthcare providers regarding dental treatment plans, including specialists and/or medical clearance.
- Scheduling appointments, answering phones, and greeting patients at reception desks when needed
- Coordinating care with other dental staff members such as hygienists and doctors
- Ensuring that all documentation is correct and up to date
- Scheduling and managing patients’ appointments for treatment, ensuring that doctors and team members are available and that all necessary materials are available.

Treatment Coordinator Job description
A dental treatment coordinator presents the costs and details of the suggested dental plan to patients and works with them to confirm insurance coverage and payment plans. After patients have been examined, they leave the exam room and go into a separate room to discuss timelines and costs with a dental treatment coordinator.
Dental treatment coordinators need to understand the necessity of the treatment to be able to address objections and explain the value of the results and procedures that a patient receives as outlined in the treatment plan. Having a dental treatment coordinator in the office allows dental professionals to focus on the actual treatment and not on the signing of contracts and insurance issues.

Pay: $17.00 – $22.00 per hour plus Monthly Bonus
