Dr. Diaz was born and raised in Cuba. After moving to the United States, he attended Florida International University where he graduate with Bachelor in Biological Science. During his undergraduate studies, Dr. Diaz participated in various extracurricular and humanitarian activities to help enrich his community. To nourish his medical knowledge and experience as a professional, he participated in different scientific research focused on the biological and cellular fields. His valuable involvement and passion for science, art, and photography led him to choose dentistry as his lifelong profession. 

Dr. Diaz earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. As a D.D.S. candidate, he participate in multiple activities that helped him understand the complexity of dentistry. His passion for esthetic dentistry led him to create the first aesthetic dental club at the school where he collaborated with classmates and faculty members to develop workshops and online seminars that focused on esthetic dentistry. During his clinical rotation, he was exposed to different surgical procedures that triggered his passion for oral surgery. From there, he decided to enrich his clinical skills and knowledge by attending multiple hospital externships across the country where he assisted and observed various complex surgical procedures.

Dr. Diaz is devoted to continuing to learn about the different specialties of dentistry. He participates in continual education courses, seminars, and hands-on workshops. His goal is to be a competent and well-rounded clinician who will be able to serve the dental needs of his community and best treat his patients.
